Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, parsley, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the meatballs. Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Split the sub rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Fill each roll with the cooked meatballs, top with marinara sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
