Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 8 oz (225g) shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the wok and add the garlic, onion, and shiitake mushrooms. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Return the beef to the wok and add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
