Nkwobi Burger Sensation

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup palm oil
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup utazi leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup stockfish, cooked and flaked
  • 1/4 cup cow skin (ponmo), cooked and diced
  • 1/4 cup ground crayfish
  • 1/4 cup ground ehu seeds (calabash nutmeg)
  • 1/4 cup scotch bonnet peppers, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, palm oil, onions, utazi leaves, stockfish, cow skin, crayfish, ehu seeds, scotch bonnet peppers, and salt. Mix well to combine.
  2. Form the beef mixture into 4 burger patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the burger patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Toast the burger buns in the skillet until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the Nkwobi burgers by placing the cooked patties on the toasted buns.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy the unique flavors of this fusion dish!
