Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef
- 2 cups napa cabbage, chopped
- 1 block firm tofu, cubed
- 1 cup enoki mushrooms
- 4 cups beef or vegetable broth
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Korean red pepper paste (gochujang)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, and cook until fragrant.
- Add the beef slices and cook until browned.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the napa cabbage, tofu, and enoki mushrooms. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, Korean red pepper paste, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper. Add this mixture to the pot and stir well.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
