Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and beef broth. Set aside.
- Season the sliced flank steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- Remove from heat and serve the Nqaij Qaib Zib Ntsuag hot with steamed rice.
