Ingredients

  • 2 cups nshima (sadza)
  • 1 cup cooked spinach
  • 1 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1 cup grilled eggplant
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup sliced cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Form the nshima into small patties and grill them until golden brown.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each nshima patty.
  3. Layer with cooked spinach, grilled eggplant, sliced tomatoes, onions, and cheese.
  4. Drizzle hot sauce on top and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the top half of the nshima patty on the fillings to create a slider.
  6. Secure with toothpicks and serve immediately.
