Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Add the baking soda and salt to the mixture and stir well.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix in the flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
