Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Add the baking soda and salt to the mixture and stir well.
  5. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Mix in the flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg until just combined.
