Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Remove from heat and strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean bowl. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Divide the mixture among serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Before serving, garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a few fresh berries.
