Nut-free Baked Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  4. Place the flour in a third shallow dish.
  5. Coat each chicken tender in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place the coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
