Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet, then pour in the sauce mixture and water. Stir well to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the beef and broccoli stir-fry hot over steamed rice or noodles.
