Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
