Nyika National Park Noodles (Stir-Fried Noodles with Vegetables)

Ingredients

  • 200g dried noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the julienned bell pepper, carrot, and shredded cabbage. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the pan.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and serve the stir-fried noodles with vegetables hot.
