Ingredients
- 1 cup obbattu (holige), crumbled
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat the milk over medium heat.
- Once the milk starts to simmer, add the crumbled obbattu and mix well.
- Stir in the sugar and cardamom powder, and let the kheer simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the kheer thickens to your desired consistency, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- Garnish with chopped nuts and serve the Obbattu Kheer warm or chilled.
