Octopus And Chicken (feke Moa)

Ingredients
- 1 lb octopus, cleaned and chopped
- 1 lb chicken thighs, bone-in
- 2 onions, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the octopus and chicken. Cook until browned on all sides, then remove from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the diced onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the turmeric, cumin, and paprika to the pot and stir to combine with the onions.
- Pour in the coconut milk and water, then return the octopus and chicken to the pot. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the pot and simmer for 1 hour, or until the octopus and chicken are tender.
- Serve the feke moa hot with steamed rice or root vegetables.
