Octopus Ceviche (ceviche De Pulpo)
Octopus Ceviche, also known as Ceviche de Pulpo, is a popular dish in Panamanian cuisine. It is a refreshing and flavorful seafood dish that is perfect for a light and healthy meal.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs octopus, cleaned and chopped
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the octopus, red onion, lime juice, and orange juice. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- After marinating, add the tomatoes, bell pepper, jalapeño, and cilantro to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
- Chill the ceviche for another 30 minutes before serving.
