Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oha leaves, shredded
  • 2 cups yam flour
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 pound chicken, cut into pieces

  • 1 tablespoon ground crayfish
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oha soup by heating the palm oil in a pot, then sauté the onions and tomatoes until soft.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned.
  3. Pour in 4 cups of water, then add the ground crayfish, pepper, and salt. Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Add the shredded Oha leaves and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the yam flour with water to form a smooth dough.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and drop them into the simmering Oha soup.
  7. Cover the pot and let the dumplings cook for 10-15 minutes until they are firm.
