Ingredients
- 1 cup Oha leaves, shredded
- 2 cups yam flour
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 pound chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons palm oil
- 1 tablespoon ground crayfish
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Oha soup by heating the palm oil in a pot, then sauté the onions and tomatoes until soft.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned.
- Pour in 4 cups of water, then add the ground crayfish, pepper, and salt. Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add the shredded Oha leaves and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the yam flour with water to form a smooth dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls and drop them into the simmering Oha soup.
- Cover the pot and let the dumplings cook for 10-15 minutes until they are firm.
