Ojingeo Bokkeum (오징어볶음)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh squid, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3-4 green onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil to make the sauce.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic, onion, and green onions, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the squid and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the squid is cooked through.
  5. Pour the sauce over the squid and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve hot.
