Okinawan Tofu Burger
This Okinawan Tofu Burger is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional burgers. Made with tofu and packed with flavor, it's perfect for a meatless meal option.
Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, crumble the tofu with your hands.
- Add the breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, soy sauce, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 burger patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings on the buns.
