Ingredients

  • 500g okra, chopped
  • 400g fish fillet, cut into chunks
  • 250g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 scotch bonnet pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground crayfish
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 liter fish or vegetable stock
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat some oil in a pot and sauté the onions, garlic, and scotch bonnet pepper until fragrant.
  2. Add the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, and cook until the tomatoes break down.
  3. Pour in the fish or vegetable stock and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the okra, fish, prawns, ground crayfish, and nutmeg. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the okra is tender and the seafood is cooked through.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
