Ingredients
- 4 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and caramelized, about 20 minutes.
- Press the pie crust into a pie dish. Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the crust, then sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
