Oslo-style Salmon Burgers
Oslo-style Salmon Burgers are a delicious and healthy Norwegian twist on the classic burger. Made with fresh salmon and traditional Norwegian flavors, these burgers are perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh salmon, skin removed
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and red onion for garnish
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the salmon until finely chopped.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, bread crumbs, dill, red onion, egg, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the salmon burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Toast the burger buns in the skillet until lightly golden.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Serve hot and enjoy!
