Ingredients
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1 cup jaggery, grated
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a pan, heat water and jaggery until the jaggery dissolves completely.
- Add the grated coconut and cook for 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the rice flour with a little water to form a smooth dough.
- Add the rice flour dough to the coconut mixture and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- Add cardamom powder and a pinch of salt. Cook until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Shape the mixture into small round dumplings.
- Serve the Paal Kozhukattai warm or chilled.
