Pad Kra Pao

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (chicken, pork, or beef)
  • 2 cups Thai basil leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 Thai chilies, chopped
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and chilies, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  3. Add the ground meat and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar.
  5. Add Thai basil leaves and stir until wilted.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot over steamed rice.
