Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of morning glory (water spinach)
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 red chilies, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of water

Instructions

  1. Wash the morning glory thoroughly and cut into 3-inch lengths.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sliced red chilies, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the morning glory to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until wilted.
  5. Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the morning glory is cooked but still crisp.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot with steamed rice.
