Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chickpea flour (besan)
- 1 egg
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, tomato, cilantro, green onions, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, ground cumin, ground coriander, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, chickpea flour, and egg.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into flat patties.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
- Serve the beef patties hot with naan bread, raita, and salad.
