Palak Paneer Twist
Palak Paneer Twist is a delicious North Indian dish that puts a flavorful spin on the classic palak paneer. This recipe combines the creamy goodness of paneer with the nutritious richness of spinach, creating a dish that is both satisfying and healthy.
Ingredients
- 2 cups spinach, washed and chopped
- 200g paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili, and sauté for a minute.
- Stir in the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
- Add the paneer cubes and mix gently. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and remove from heat.
- Palak Paneer Twist is ready to be served hot with naan or rice.
