Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef brisket, cut into cubes
  • 8 cups water

  • 1/2 cup string beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 3 tbsp tamarind soup base
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the beef brisket and simmer for 1.5 hours or until tender.
  3. Add the onion, tomatoes, and tamarind soup base. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in the radish, eggplant, and string beans. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper. Add the spinach and cook for 2 minutes.
