Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, sesame oil, and arrowroot powder. Set aside.
- Season the sliced chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the asparagus and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender-crisp.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce over the chicken and asparagus. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat everything in the sauce.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
