Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, almond flour, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
