Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh spinach, washed and chopped
- 200g paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in the ginger and garlic paste, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the pureed tomatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
- Gently stir in the paneer cubes and green chilies.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Palong Shaak Paneer is ready to be served hot with rice or naan.
