  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
