Paneer Butter Masala (creamy Paneer Butter Masala)

Ingredients
- 250g paneer, cubed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup tomato, pureed
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, soaked
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Add the tomato puree, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- In a blender, blend the soaked cashew nuts with some water to make a smooth paste.
- Add the cashew paste to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the paneer cubes and mix gently. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the remaining butter, heavy cream, sugar, and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
