Paneer Tikka (chettinad Paneer Tikka)

Ingredients

  • 400g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup thick yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Chettinad masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, Chettinad masala powder, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add paneer cubes, onion wedges, and bell pepper chunks to the marinade. Coat them well and let it marinate for 1 hour.
  3. Thread the marinated paneer, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the skewers in the pan and cook until the paneer is golden brown and the vegetables are tender, turning occasionally.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
