Paneer Tikka (crispy Paneer Tikka)

Ingredients

  • 400g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add paneer cubes to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Thread marinated paneer, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
  4. Heat a grill pan or stovetop grill over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the paneer is crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
