Paneer Tikka (shahi Paneer Kebabs)

Ingredients

  • 400g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add paneer cubes, onion wedges, and bell pepper cubes to the marinade. Coat them well and let it marinate for 1 hour.
  3. Thread the marinated paneer, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and place the skewers. Cook until the paneer and vegetables are charred and cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
