Ingredients

  • 20 puris
  • 2 boiled and diced potatoes
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 cup mint-coriander chutney
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the spicy water by mixing water, mint-coriander chutney, cumin powder, black salt, and chaat masala in a large bowl.
  2. Crack the top of each puri with a spoon to create a small opening.
  3. Fill each puri with a small amount of diced potatoes, chickpeas, and chopped onion.
  4. Top each puri with a spoonful of tamarind chutney.
  5. Dip the filled puri in the spicy water and enjoy immediately.
