Pani Puri Salad Bowls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 cup mint-coriander chutney
  • 1/4 cup sev (crunchy chickpea noodles)
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 12-15 puris (hollow crispy shells)
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions.
  2. Add the tamarind chutney, mint-coriander chutney, chaat masala, cumin powder, black salt, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Crush the puris and add them to the bowl, along with the sev and chopped coriander leaves. Mix gently to combine.
  4. Drizzle the lemon juice over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Divide the salad into individual serving bowls and serve immediately.
