Pani Puri Tostadas
Pani Puri Tostadas are a fusion dish that combines the flavors of Indian street food with the crunch of Mexican tostadas. These crispy, tangy, and spicy tostadas are a perfect appetizer or snack for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 12 puris (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
- 1/4 cup mint-coriander chutney
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) for topping
Instructions
- Prepare the puris by making a hole in the center of each puri.
- Place the puris on a serving plate.
- In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, boiled chickpeas, chopped onions, chaat masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Stuff each puri with the potato-chickpea mixture.
- Drizzle tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney over the stuffed puris.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and sev.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the crunchy Pani Puri Tostadas!
