Pani Puri Tostadas

Ingredients

  • 12 puris (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 cup mint-coriander chutney
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the puris by making a hole in the center of each puri.
  2. Place the puris on a serving plate.
  3. In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, boiled chickpeas, chopped onions, chaat masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  4. Stuff each puri with the potato-chickpea mixture.
  5. Drizzle tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney over the stuffed puris.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and sev.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy the crunchy Pani Puri Tostadas!
