Ingredients
- 4 ciabatta rolls
- 8 slices of prosciutto
- 8 slices of fontina cheese
- 1 cup arugula
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the ciabatta rolls in half and brush the insides with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer the prosciutto, fontina cheese, arugula, and tomato slices on the bottom half of each roll.
- Top with the other half of the roll and press gently to pack the ingredients together.
- Heat a panini press or a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the panini press or skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the heat and let the panini rest for a minute before serving.
