Paniyar Bhaja (assamese Style Paneer Fry)

Ingredients

  • 250g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the paneer cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Reduce the heat and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the paneer evenly.
  4. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring gently to avoid breaking the paneer cubes.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
