Ingredients
- Pomfret fish - 4 whole, cleaned and gutted
- For the masala: <ul class="ingredientTags"> Red chili powder
- Turmeric powder
- Coriander powder
- Cumin powder
- Ginger-garlic paste
- Tamarind pulp
- Salt
Instructions
- Cut slits on both sides of the pomfret fish and keep aside.
- Mix all the masala ingredients to form a thick paste.
- Stuff the masala inside the slits of the fish and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the stuffed pomfret fish until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
- Serve hot with steamed rice and lemon wedges.
