Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook until browned on both sides. Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and cook until softened. Add the minced garlic and sweet paprika, and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and return the chicken thighs to the pot. Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for 45 minutes, or until the chicken is tender.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, if needed.
  6. Serve the papricas de pui hot, garnished with a sprinkle of paprika, and alongside your favorite side dishes.
