Ingredients

  • 2 cups parboiled rice
  • Water for soaking
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the parboiled rice and soak it in water for 4-5 hours.
  2. Drain the water and grind the rice to a smooth paste, adding water as needed.
  3. Add salt to the rice paste and mix well.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat.
  5. Take a ladleful of the rice batter and spread it evenly on the pan to make a round flatbread.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter to make more flatbreads.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite curry or chutney.
