Ingredients

  • 4 bitter melons
  • 250g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bitter melons by cutting them in half lengthwise and removing the seeds and pith.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff the bitter melon halves with the meat mixture.
  4. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the stuffed bitter melon to the pan and cook until the meat is fully cooked and the bitter melon is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
