- 1 teaspoon palm sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the minced chicken, diced tofu, garlic, shallot, red chili, shrimp paste, tamarind paste, palm sugar, salt, and white pepper.
- Stuff the bitter melon halves with the minced chicken mixture.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the stuffed bitter melon and cook until the chicken is browned.
- Pour in the water and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove the stuffed bitter melon from the pan and slice into pieces.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
