Ingredients

  • 1 lb mixed seafood (such as shrimp, mussels, and squid)
  • 2 cups short-grain rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 4 cups fish or seafood broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp saffron threads
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the rice, paprika, and saffron threads. Cook for 2 minutes.
