Pashtun Chicken Tikka
Pashtun Chicken Tikka is a delicious and flavorful dish from the Pashtun Cuisine, known for its rich and aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons ginger paste
- 2 teaspoons garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, turmeric, and salt.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Heat a stovetop grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
