Ingredients
- 8 oz (225g) dried pasta
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 cup pine nuts
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a food processor, combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic, and Parmesan cheese. Pulse until finely chopped.
- With the food processor running, slowly pour in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
