Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Add the carrots, celery, and peas to the skillet. Stir in the tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, boil the potatoes in a separate pot until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk until smooth.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown.
