Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, datil peppers, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 8 crab cakes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab cakes for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
- Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
